The Great Indulgence of Divine Mercy
Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Dictation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
An abundance of grace awaits you here from April 20-27, 2025, at the Shrine of Divine Mercy – the Great Indulgence of Divine Mercy – a gift and grace not only for Lithuania but for the entire world. We invite everyone to participate in the indulgence by the original image of the Merciful Jesus.
During the indulgence, 57 Masses will be offered for the intentions of our benefactors. To have prayers for the necessary graces for your loved ones (living and deceased) during the indulgence, bring their written names with a donation to the sacristy of the Shrine of Divine Mercy. If you do not live in Vilnius, you can write your intentions on our website at www.gailestingumas.lt by filling out the special form.
On April 26, 2025, at 21:00, we invite you to the Ecumenical Way of Light. The journey begins at the Gate of Dawn.
This is a great opportunity for all who believe in the Risen Jesus to bear witness and illuminate the city of Vilnius with His light and joy. Remember to bring those you love and a candle.
